can I lose my job if I hardly smile at customers? Lately my Customer Servie Manager has been up my ass lately about smiling and greeting customers, I do greet the customers sometimes but most of the customers intimidate me so I hardly bother. Plus, I'm always on lot as if that's a problem. I don't see how it's bad, atleast there's gonna be a crapload of carts for the customers. I mean, would rather had no carts at all when the day is really hectic? I think not.
Anywho, what the point really is... can I get fired for not smiling?
i think it would be really hard for them to fire you over not smiling im not saying that they wont start watching you and wait for you to make a mistake and get fired for that but im pretty sure that its not stated anywhere that you have to smile in your contract.
