Cashier question about taking checks
Permalink

As a cashier, what do you need to write on a customer's check? I know that you need 1) their driver's license number, 2) date of birth and driver's license expiration date, and 3) your initials, but there's one more thing. Is it the manager's initials or something? I start my job as a cashier tomorrow and don't want to ask this because it's something we already went over, but I stupidly forgot.

Thanks.

Be honest, tell them you forgot about this. any good helper will lead you straight. This policy seems to differ from store to store. Good luck.smile
