corperate conflict ...

i work for kroger corperate i have worked there for 3 yrs now . when i was first hired on i loved it my boss gave me a chance she worked with me on everything motivated me and i being the i love a challange it was great . until we lost the best supervisor kroger could have ever had. she knew all the jobs on the floor never once did she ever think to take sides far and she knew the only way to manage is to work out from behind the desk . on top of everthing coming through bad check's and so on . so because she was so motivating it made us want to work there harder and strive to be the best .
then one day she decided to go for her dream job and has been gone for yrs now.
so from her motivation and knowledge training and great leadership we were on our way.
but thats not the case now
we got a new boss just maybe a month after she had left the company and thats when we started to see red. just because you have collage degree doesn't mean you are right for the job.
thats a concern where we are they think just because of the collage you have it and now we deal with a manager not sutable to manage anyone.
so because of that we have lost some verygood poeple that could lift our falling department out of the hole but they  choose to have our stress level high dealing with corperate manager conflicts they don't even know the job  and they do not want to and thats there problem  but it is frustrating to know we can be better.
it all starts with a great leader

Kroger does not take very good care of the people who work hard. That is why you see the good people leaving.
They pay their dues in the trenches of Kroger and then move on to better jobs. Kroger seems to reward the brown noses and ass kissers who are the relations of the higher ups and in turn they lose the hard working better employees who move on to other jobs.

Said it before-I'll say it again, "Those who can't, lead those who can".

Thats just like this "Key Retail", the guy that came up with it hasn't stocked a can or buffed the floor with his ass in in 15 years since Walmart.

its sad because the ones who can't lead is what is making kroger go down the drain .
the wonderful management material they call a leader is an accountant they have no idea how to think anyother way but numbers .... well at least this one does any ways.
