Whats your store doing for a Christmas Part this year?

Something on a more lite note.

What are some of the other stores doing for a christmas party this year.?

I'm a little disappointed in our store. They're having it at Legends Restaurant and it'll cost $12.99 for 2 people to eat but doesn't include drink. I've never been to a store christmas party where you had to pay. Its always been something in the line of everyone bring a dish and have it in store during the day with those rotating out so those that were working could participate or take a 15 minute break or lunch break to get a bite to eat . I guess Kroger does it different or it just depends on the manager of each store. I just figured for a store doing 3-4 million a month without a gas station or a real deli could show more spirit and employee appreciation. I wont go because after spending a fortune on childrens gifts I really can't afford to eat out that week.

Also working Christmas Eve...I'm surprised people actually think Kroger will actually do anything for any of its employees.  Harley Sanders can suck my balls two times.

At 594 we didn't get anything for Christmas. They use to send a card but, that stopped like 10 years ago.

You posted that anonymously because you know good and well that Harley would wipe the floor with your ass.

Our store had aHam and Turkey and soda. All the employees bought in food to share. No gift cards, nothing. Pretty pathetic. My son-in-law works part-time at Bass Pro Shop and they gave all the employees a Turkey. You would think that a grocery store as large as Kroger's could afford SOMETHING for thier employees.
