Transferring to another store?

I was thinking of moving out of state and wondering if it is possible to transfer to another store in that state?  It's in another division.

yes it is. i transferred to another store. they say you have to at least be at kroger for a year in order to transfer.

what you do is once you find out where you are moving and the kroger you would like to transfer to, you get in contact with the manager of the department that you want to work in. from there, you talk to your current manager and the two managers will go back and forth communicating and sending your paperwork.

well sure its that simple if they need you. but if they are currently full staff then i doubt they have to take you.

Dallas area loal 540, you transfer to anopther market and you do go to the bottom of the seniority ( in that market) until the first of the year and then gain it back. As explained to me was for the sole purpose of people setting vacations and then getting bumped by someone with more time being transfered into your shop.
