I wish they would recognize the positions such as wall deli manager, dairy manager, seafood manager, and frozen manager as actual management. If you are one of these, you are not considered a department head and are stuck in a rut. No bonus or chance of advancement into upper management. Any position that ends in 'manager' should be considered management.
