Do not have my contract here to say for sure but I have seen several people turn in a notice and leave , on good terms, and get their vacation and personal days paid to them. In the event of a termination or separation, the company is required to pay you those days and time erned.
But this is Dallas or North texas. Where are you located?

I'm hoping to turn in my two weeks with my vacation as my last week. That would be grrrrreeeeaaaat.

I'm so over this job.

Stupid parents for not letting me cut my hours. Even if they are right.

Seems that we have another immature child worker. Quitting your job will not solve your problem. Growing up and taking responsibility for yourself will. It my be Kroger this time and then who know what the next time. Sounds like you are just to damn lazy to take charge of your own life and looking for a cheap way out.

I just turned in my unavailibility so I can only work Saturdays right now. Which is good, because I've come close to walking out.

Once I get my new job settled in, I might open up so I can work some morning weekdays.

Honestly, the only reason I'm still here is because I want my vacation pay and whatnot. bleh

I may be childish, but I cannot handle my store managers. I used to love my job, I felt needed and it was great.

And then it went from that to where I was specifically told "We don't need you."

Childish, maybe, but I think the bridges have been burnt between me and Kroger.

And, as I've said, I doubt anyone will really read this that's important, but I'm going to be rather discreet until after vacation.

Deli Worker, How much time do you have in and how much in vacation weeks do you got? I mean, I don't know about your contract, but up here, you have to work a year before you get one week, I believe 3 years to get 2 weeks...I mean if you got that much time in, why would you leave. Up here also, Vacation Pay is based on the years previous average hours worked. So if I were you and you are part time as you availability is stating, you probably won't end up with a whole lot... Definitely not 40 hours worth of pay

What about sick time my wife works for litmans jewelry and they are a Kroger company. she is putting in her notice today because of games that are being played by the management. She has 2 personal days and 40 hours of sick and 26 vacation. Also if anyone knows what union the litmans(kroger) in Maryland is that would be nice. Some of the things that have been going on im sure are against the cba.

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and currently have already turned in my 2-weeks notice stating my last day is December 1st, 2016 at Smith's Food & Drug, which is merged with Kroger.

I've not been able to have an official vacation after my 1-year and 2 months of service there, and I have direct-deposit set up, so do I get my vacation check on or after December 1st, 2016?

No, it's 2 years to get 2 weeks paid vacation, and I currently work at Store 457 as a damn bagger, but I'm getting younger as a 36 year old man, and my new availability request for 16 hours a week is constantly denied!

I take Computer Technology courses at Lanier Technical College in Georgia online since China ****ed up my on-campus life, now I have online classes until Spring 2021, so I only work 3 days a week, and I don't give a **** about Kroger's needs anymore, this Summer heat is beating me down worse than it did when I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for 3 years and 2 months!

I'm giving Kroger a silent ultimatum, they can approve my last and only new availability request or I'M LEAVING FOR GOOD ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER 2020!

Sincerely,

Peter Michael Simkins
