Just realized this whole forum is probably started by john hackett or someone else in louisville and everything you type is being sent directly to HEADQUARTERS where they'll plan your demise,  i want out, help

Hahaha. If you're that paranoid, just go to your profile settings and blank it all. Or make up some random info.

Plus, make sure you're wearing your tinfoil hat while doing so.

well i'm not really planning on leaving or anything, but with all the scheming I've seen from this company, it wouldn't surprise me to see one of the big wigs as the brains of this operation.

Have you guys been to greatpeople.me and seen those comments on those blogs?

Sure you can post anonymous on the blogs, but you do realize that you logging in with your enterprise ID and password.

If you embrace change you will survive at Kroger.

We used to have a union board for all the stores, target, lowes, home depot, kroger etc. We would get on there on complain and complain about everything and anything. When that site died, one of guys started this one. So it's cool.

Just have to wonder why all these anonymous posters (that have this paranoia about management monitoring this board) has to worry about it. 4.gifI think I have put myself out there and location and I am still around and got my job. 1.gifDoes people here really fear that Kroger is watching this board just to see who is saying what so they can fire them?

Maybe they do and they do not but who cares if they do? Unless there is something that comes up and bites them in the ass then they could carew less about this board. Them and the Union did not seem to give a damb about a letter I sent about a posible strike ( about 9 years ago until one local paper used it and published the article. Kroger did notr seem to tile it when I was contacting other locals to see what they was getting and dealing with while we was still under negotations 3 and 6 years ago. Was not anything they could do to me. So who cares if they monitor it. I will always speak my mind or what I think of kroger ( good and the bad) without worrying about what they think

Then why is there no way to opt out? I'm done with them after a poisoning and a near death.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY they can track you down EVEN IF they wanted to as long as you don't post any of your personal info (i.e. what your store no is, your true name, euid number etc.) I always use a 'bum email account' and never post from my home just to be sure they cant track my ip address. But this isn't an official Kroger site so you have nothing to worry about.

what can they do with your ip?  Narrow it down that you live in Cincinnatti?

I'm not entirely sure. I was told that you can be tracked. That's why on forums such as these, I post away from home. I'm especially careful on Facebook even though I have a secondary account that can talk sh!t on. I was even questioned on that account when they had it up on their computer at work. I told them it was not mine whatsoever.

You could, *in theory*, be tracked by your IP address. Most likely an admin account on this forum could see the most recent IP address you logged in from (I've never seen the admin panel of Activeboard, just drawing on my experience with phpBB and PunBB). If someone with that access also controlled another site, say, feed.kroger.com, IPs could be cross-referenced between the sites' logs. Realistically, this mid-2000s era forum isn't being run as a honeypot and even if someone in corporate weaseled their way into having admin access it'd be easier to catch slip-ups on Facebook, where the social graph easily outs alt accounts and most people are careless enough to talk **** on main.
