salary pay grade

I would like someone who works for Kroger in the Detroit Metro area to tell me what the pay scale is for Meat Cutters at your store.  I know this is a union store covered by I think its UFCW but not sure what local.

Do cutters start at minimum wage to go up to say $20 per hour after like 10 years or something ?  How often do you get raises assuming you work there part time ?

Thanks

OK Anyone that has been with the company for any anount of time knows that a manager can give a rise. Like the union is going to say oh no they cant have more money. The store I work in is composed of 2 stores togather and most of fulltimers are top out but with the wave of a wound presto the manager got them more money.

Kiss Ass and you will be happy with the few cents on your check.

Dont listen to the other guy. If your starting out no experience you will start at minimum wage for meat cutters usually higher that minimum wage. Other than that you would make whatever slot you fit into considering previous experiece, which they WILL check and may take a couple weeks for your checks to show it. No manager will give you more than top pay unless you get a premium for working overnight, eligible for sunday premium, being asst dept manager or other things that get a premiums added to pay. Managers arent going to get you more becasue then everyone will line up demanding more money whove been there longer just isnt the kroger way. Being a part timer you might get a raise every 10 months-1year depending one your contract and part timers usually get every 6 months. Ask the union rep in your store or a manager for your union contract.

I don't know about detroit but in the texas area meat cutters max out around 12 bucks an hour.... and we don't get sunday premium anymore.
