Where's my cut ?

So management has cut our hours across the board so they can save labor and get that big Christmas bonus, yet they want everything done as if we had a full staff ?  Everything has to look fresh and stocked so the corporate big wigs are impressed and they don't look bad.  Then come January 2nd, they will cut our hours down even more !  So where is MY bonus, where is MY share of the profits for working my ass off and doing the job of three people within my alotted shift time ?

Management can go **** themselves !

I work the same speed during the holidays as I do any other time of the year.  If there's extra work, I figure they can either pay me the overtime, or they can have someone else do it, or it just won't get done.

...and as long as you don't piss any body in management off, you'll likely retire from there intact with that attitude.

If it's not done by the time you're scheduled to go home then it sucks to be them. Don't bust your ass just because it's busy. You're in a union, son.

I agree with that 100% I asked for more hours they told me no cause I'm lowest on seniority.Well how is that my fault that 1 month for a transfer turned into 4 months. Who do you think needs the hours more. Someone who's a college student who has classes to pay for and books to pay for and or someone who is adult with wife/husband and kids to support,or someone who is in highschool.I think the adult and college situation is more acceptable if you ask me. I onyl work 2-3 days a week. subtract those union dues and I'm only making what, $66-80 a week. That's nothing
