I'd be interested in hearing from Kroger employees in other divisions as to what kind of employee discounts they have. Here in the Delta Division its 5% weekly. Are these discounts a contract negotiated item, or are they more or less at the discretion of the individual Division execs? Thanks for your input.
I believe it's based on the union bargaining agreement.
Here it's 10% on Kroger brand only items. On Christmas and the 4th of July, we receive 20% on Kroger branded items.
I'm also not sure what you mean by 5% weekly. Do you mean you can only use the 5% discount once a week?
We get it whenever we buy anything that's Kroger branded, be it if we use our card one time a week or a hundred.
Yep, 5% off one transaction once a week. They are so generous to the employees here in the Delta.
If it doesn't make sense, then it must make perfect Kroger sense!
Would you like fries with th... I mean, your milk in a bag?
In the atlanta division we get 10% off all Kroger brand items. I believe the division sets the discount. We also get 20% on the week of most holidays. We are currently getting double fuel points as well.
In California we get NOTHING... be grateful.....
we get great benefits, such as medical insurance for an extremely low cost, plus we get a daily 10%off all kroger products, and daily percentages off of products such as tvs, clothing, non kroger food, home, garden and lots more, not to mention we get discounds on cellphone bills i.e. tmobile sprint verison. i love my job and i hope we never lose our kroger company.
Does the discount work at all if you leave your divisional area? If i'm in Ohio and I go to Indiana for a trip and stop in at a kroger, does my 10% discount on kroger products work?

I'm in Ohio, and I've used my card in Kentucky and it's worked.
