Anyone who has worked for Kroger even for a day knows what the EUID number is. Just wondering what state of mind are some of the people that are hired to work at our stores !!!! Do we ever take responsibility as adults or is it more convenient to blame the company. ... just saying.

That's not krogers fault that's our union protecting all the full timers who have been there forever. They are the ones making the unions pay checks they don't care about us part timers. oboma care doesn't help either!! if that wasn't around we all would still be getting 40

what's the point of eschedule if you can't ck your schedule from home?

The ability to check your schedule from home wasn't just a new feature; it was just a secondary feature of a computerized scheduling program that replaced the one we had been using for somewhere around 15-20 years. The entire back end of the scheduling system was overhauled and eschedule works more closely with elms.

In sked, the computer only wrote the schedule for baggers and cashiers, and even then only about 75% of their schedules; service desk, utility, sco, etc had to still be done manually, as did new availabilities, requested time off, vacations, etc. Writing the schedule took 4 hours or more.

Now, I can essentially just click yes or no to time off requests, availability requests, and vacations, which on a busy week can take 5 minutes. Then I can click the button to run the auto scheduler and within 30 seconds I have a schedule that is 90-95% complete (by my higher personal standards.)

OMG YES!!!  And they turn the lights down at 10:00 and play that slow, death march music and expect us to be perky!!!  What the heck is that all about??  Cant they play something like AC/DC or Metalica at that hour?

Of all the stupid things that Kroger does, this is the least problematic.  I will strike with you but I think my sign is going to be WAY bigger than yours!!

Check the wall schedule. You shouldn't rely on the online schedule anyway.

Calm down, they often don't get posted until saturday afternoon depending on how proactive your store mgmt is about actually publishing the schedule.

Having the same issue.  I am having trouble logging in on the eschedule as well.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.  Request that we have more than a day or two to know hours for  the following week.  Hard to plan when you cant get schedule on time or not at all until you call or go to store.  debbie cole lexington, ky.  I have visited other locations and most employees are have trouble with the site.

Go into work and use the computer at the store.  If you still can't get on Eschedule, speak to a store manager about it directly.

Just do that the old school way. the printed schedule still needs to be posted according to your contract. It bothered me also, but in some ways it is nice not to know how poor of a schedule some of these managers are writing. It needs to be according to the contract, with Customer Service being the true motivation for the reasoning. I am not sure if most managers are even aware of the why Key Retailing is in place. If done correctly, we would all be better off. That is a big if. There are too many fiefdoms in most stores, and managers playing politics. If it all ran smoothly, would Kroger even need as many managers, and co managers as they are paying? it is in a managers interest to keep things dependent on their approval, although it can be a waste of time trying to get them to listen. Top down power management was supposed to be a thing of the past, but it appears to just pushed down a little. Keep your cool, and do things the way they have always been done, if you have to. Just be aware that your time is limited by contract to bump someone, so make sure you have your schedule posted accordingly. Also watch out for being off on the day it is posted, if it is not written according to the contract, and your seniority rights. Good luck, just do not play into their hands by thinking the contract language regarding schedules is no longer valid.

All of Kroger is a pile of baloney.

They torment both the employees and the customers to death, with that

God-horrible, forced-to-listen-to overhead music and radio horror.

It is truly pathetic, and inhuman... all that black screech and yammer, yammer, yammer.

Not to mention trying tocheck your work schedule on all the sites that are inoperable now.

Kroger wants you to think they are listening ,but I do not think  management cares about our opinion. This e- schedule is not what it is cracked up to be.
