In Florida, Kroger's subsidiary store is Loaf N' Jug.

Kroger was in Florida until 1986. There are currently no plans for Kroger itself to come back to Florida, and some analysts list some other retailers such as Wal-Mart to be too big of a competitor to consider going to Florida.

I think Kroger has some stores in the panhandle. They're called Tom Thumb.  Might be small convenience stores.
