Sounds like loss prevention, or kroger is making a group dedicated to investigate retail crime syndicates.

A quick google search for "ORC Investigator Salary" came up with this link http://www.simplyhired.com/a/salary/search/q-organized+retail+crime+investigator

from what i can gather the pay is around 30k-50k/year. I'm not sure what "Pay Level: 7" means and was unable to find any information on it, sorry.

I do not know what an ORC investigator is?  Is that for Kroger?  All of us work in the stores pretty much.

Yes, the position I applying for indicates a salary "pay scale 7," but does not give the specific salary. The position is ORC Investigator.
