Are these just horrible? My store has had a dozen postings for these in the past month for nearby Krogers along with a few backup positions in deli/bakery, but that's it. I know grocery dept heads mainly work nights (isn't there also a night crew lead?) but is it THAT bad?
You can blame Key Refailing for all the job postings. They not only expect you to to get all the physical work done; they also inundate you with tons of useless paperwork
What state are you in? I haven't seen too many in Mi for a while.
I keep wondering why these positions are open. Did the person retire or did key retailing demands wear them out and make them step down? Or, did the store manager force them to step down?
I think most stores in Mi have a day Grocery Manager and a night Grocery Manager. I know of one store that only has a lead person in charge on nights. The Day Manager is supposed to be doing all the paperwork for key retailing. The night manager is supposed to get 35 hours worth of work done overnight with two people and themselves.
If you want full time here in Mi, the only bids that will get you there are mostly manager bids. If you are looking for full time, sign them and see where they go.
