Working there for a decade did it for me.

Actually, the moldy ceiling in the bathroom pic is pretty bad.

That should have been taken care of a long time ago.

Sadly I've read them before.  It would be amazing what these people would do if something really terrible did happened to them.

I hope to escape from Kroger someday, and when I do... I'm gonna troll that Facebook page HARD.

My blood pressure was raised about a month in to my work.

It gets raised every time I work the parking lot.

It gets raised every time we are short-handed and as a bagger ('courtesy clerk') I have to bounce to two or more registers almost simultaneously.

It was raised when I was written up and my management basically told me 'You could quit today and we wouldn't care.'

It gets raised almost daily sometimes by the stupidest s-h-i-t that I have encountered. Oh, you have a goback? That's fine, let me just walk away from this $150 order to take care of that.

A price check? No problem, I'm just the only courtesy clerk to cover X amount of registers.

Front End SUCKS. If I don't get out of it then I am going to have to quit the store entirely.

That's disgusting, I can't believe they actually said that.

I think my "favorite" is the lady who said she was going to start a petition against Kroger selling fluoride water and to expect a lawsuit. A lawsuit for what exactly?? For carrying an FDA approved product on their shelf? Delusional people.

"Kroger.....what terrible customer service you have at you Dupont Rd location in Fort Wayne, IN. At this moment, 11:47 am on a FRIDAY, and your service desk has ONLY ONE associate helping people, while there are NINE customers standing in line!! WoW!!! Way to fail, folks. I for one will not return to this location."

No ****, i'm sure all the customer service people were running register.

What about the one lady who complained that the coupons weren't for items she wanted? They don't have to offer digital coupons at all, be happy for the ones you can use, lol

The actual wording was, as close to it as I can remember, "You can leave us today and we will be okay with that."

Basically saying what I wrote above. Although I know it was meant to be more in the "We will still be on good terms" sense, the fact that my manager said that in the first place, well, that was the day I officially stopped giving a damn about my job. It is just a paycheck to me now. Why should I care about my work when those whom I work for do not care about me? I am Front End, courtesy clerk, said manager basically knew she could hire some poor high school student two days after I would have "quit" and have him or her do the same thing.

Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for a paycheck and to be working, but that day...wow.
