I have been working at Kroger since the end of September 2013. I am the only one in my department (bakery) who makes minimum wage. The 4 people below me in seniority make over minimum wage. So my question is how do I get the experience pay that I deserve. I have prior food service and bakery experience.
How can the people below you make more money? Your pay is based on your hours worked. You should have had more hours than them by now.
And holy crap, you've been there less than a year and have 4 people under you in the bakery? That's a huge turnover rate!! It's taken me almost 3 years to get 4 people under me in seniority (and yet i'm still full time)!!

You're probably way too late. Should have asked when you got hired.
How do you get experience pay? gee, maybe mentioning past experience during the hiring phase has something to do with it? Deli is ridiculously easy to get EP because it's mostly ex-fast food employees who wanted to get 10% off of something other than french fries.

You have a year from your hire date before its too late, but it takes the hr people about another 5 months to actually get it done though so it might be too late

You definitely don't have a year in some areas and 5 months is a ridiculously long time to get that worked out.
