I've been working at Kroger for about four months now, and I've been a kind worker who always gets their stuff done. Since I was part time, I worked maybe three-four days a week. As time has gone on, I'm lucky to get one day a week. Just this week, in fact, I have not been scheduled at all. I asked my manager about it and she wouldn't give me a clear answer. She'd say that they just had too many people on or she was busy and told me to call back (three times).
Is there a possibility I might be fired? Is this a sign of some sort? I'm horribly confused.
If you REALLY got stuff done, then chances are they just don't have the hours to schedule you.
Happens all the time. However many hours you get depends on how high up you are on the seniority list. I'm assuming you're at the bottom 25% because of the time you got hired.
Anyway, just hope someone gets sick or has to call out. Hopefully they'll get to you.
Now, are you SURE you didn't do anything to tick them off?
