thought on co-managers

I found out that one of the co-managers left our store to work somewhere else. How long do you think it takes for them to realize "oh crap....how long can i really work here?"

Is it another Kroger or is it a job that requires thinking and common sense?

We had one of our co's get out of the Kroger business too.

That man was the happiest I'd ever seen him on his last week here.

I plan to buy a pizza and eat it naked the same day that I finally get the courage to quit.
Also maybe watch television for 24 hours or until my brain shuts down to save my body.
Whichever happens first.

We had a manager give a months notice, call in sick, then come back in with a dr. note saying he was too stressed to work.  He had been working for the company for 7 or 8 years and had plenty of sick pay.  He spent his last month collecting sick pay.  Then got his vacation.  Winning!  Don't think he had anything lined up.  Of course he had the whole wife, kids, mortgage thing so I bet he was stressed!

Our closing managers (PICs) leave all the time.  Very rare for an actual manager to leave.

Your manager left to sell cars?
