I will be a 3rd Shift Grocery Stocker with $ 7.95 plus a $ 1.00 more for working 3rd shift. After I am trained as a Grocery Stocker the Customer Service Manager said Kroger will train me on the new registers so I can cashier also.I was told I will be getting experience pay on top of the $ 8.95 that will be my base pay. I have 9 months at Kroger as a Cashier; 2 years - 9 months at Meijer. These jobs have the Same Union And Union Rep. I also have 20 Months Experience at Non-Union Jobs combined from my other jobs such as Front Desk Sales,Customer Service Desk,and Cashier. I need to know how much I should expect to get paid per hour on top of my $ 8.95 starting wage. Thank You in advance :)
If you've been with Kroger for 9 months already, don't expect anything more than the 8.95 because you're well past the time during which you can claim experience pay.
I worked at krogers over 10 years ago,and I will be learning how to stock at night. I used to be a cashier full time,now I have been offered night stock part time.
