Guess I am one of the lucky ones. People are awesome, managers are fair. Beats full time welfare any day. Just MHO.

"Our WIC/EBT customer who bought two full carts of groceries needs help loading their items in their Cadillac.  Though, you'll have to wait while he pulls up his Apple Pay from his iPhone 6 to finish the transaction though. "

"Oh wait, his Apple Pay device can't be accepted since we don't have the proper readers for them. Hang tight while he pulls out a stack of 100's from his pocket like as if they're lint."

Not everyone on welfare is a drug dealer.  I've experianced the whole, swipe ebt and then whip out a rubber band bank, but for the most part its usually "I thought their was more on it" or "I can't get the fried chicken, its not fair!"

Good for you stella58.

Welfare queens are just people who've mastered the system that enslaved us all to be wage slaves. The working class are the suckers in this scenario. Welfare queens are trolling the hell out of everyone.

I find my days go more smoothly when I don't "assume" and mind my own business when it comes to customers and what they do. If it does not directly concern me, I don't give a damn. However to make a point, there are some people that have others use their EBT cards because they are not physically able to....and..if you need state aid because you are trying to raise a kid alone and a second job ain't doing it for ya....apply for assistance.

Attitude is everything. Trust me.

Interesting...Welfare Queens...I have spied many a Welfare KINGS also. Not as many mind you, but women, more than likely, are usually the ones raising children on their own. Check the stats Skippy. I clean other peoples toilets to keep off welfare. I do a damn good job too. Although I wish I could "flush" my worthless degree down one of their private toilets.

Off to work I go!

Running Self-Scan, I'm AMAZED at how many of my co-workers are on Food Stamps. They work their tails off, and are still on food stamps. It's sad.

That's actually done on purpose by companies. They expect their employees to make up the salary deficit by seeking government assistance.

Hell, I kid you not, McDonald's actually ENCOURAGE their employees to stop taking vacations, get welfare benefits, but the biggest kicker of all: RETURN GIFTS THEY RECEIVED FOR CASH.

I mean, what the ****ing ****? While I myself don't think they ought to be paid $15/hour, workers in general need to start at $10/hour.

Ten years ago or so, MA state went after Walmart----the state's biggest employer. All those 'associates' were draining the state's SSI and other welfare benefits for food/medical assistance. Walmart's response was to threaten to LEAVE MA.....and they won. Not another word was said by the state's government.

Walmart knows they have them by the balls.
As evil as Walmart is, there would be a lot of people without a job if they left.

It's also why DC's mayor said he'd veto any attempts to raise the minimum wage there. Walmart was building a store or two within the DC area, and threatened to cancel everything if the wage hike occurs.

City council vehemently supported it, but the mayor struck it down, if I recall.
