Hi, Does anyone know how long it takes to receive your final email that you have been On-Boarded? I had my "Group Interview" last Wednesday.  I did the background check (filled online the previous week, after setting up interview time) and drug test (the day of the interview). How long did you have to wait? And, how long did it take to do "Orientation"? Thank you!

You don't get emails. As far as I know, you get a call from either the hiring manager or someone from HR/management.

Normally it's more or less a week for the background+drug test. After that, you're scheduled for orientation either at the store you're working in or where all the mass new hires are going to be taken.

Thank you! All this waiting is driving me crazy! I just want to get to work and learn what I need to do.

Call them and ask for an update on your papers.

it took slightly over a week to hear back for mine but they said if I didn't hear by a week to call and check on it, once you get the call if it's like my store you have "training" which is sitting at a computer learning about stuff that has nothing to do with your job, took me 7-8 hours to complete after that you should have a day or so of real training.

My real training was:  Here's a price gun and cutter, run that stock over there.

Lol my last job did that, they expected me to know how their computers worked and what I needed to do even though nobody trained me, that job didn't last long. Surprisingly kroger (at least mine) not only trained me but I had 2 days of training before I was thrown in by myself :)
