My contract says "Vacations due in november or december may be carried over to January of the next year" So probably starting January 1st, you can put in your time.

Nobody's asked it yet, but is OP a courtesy clerk? In my local, they do not get PTO at all.

But in mine they get the same PTO as everyone else.

Obviously, they forgot to give you the memo:

"Due to the needs of the business, FESlaveHoustons' vacations have been postponed indefinitely."  "Houston, We have a problem!"

Just kidding.

It would be best to ask your union steward.  Or, if you feel compfortable with your store managers, ask one of them.

You need to ask asap.  Most of the high seniority employees request their vacations in November and December due to Deer season, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
