Sounds like the cheery, pump-'em-up conference calls and $7-an-hour wages are paying off in employee high morale.  Well done, Krogrr upper management!

So does that mean you loved the fact that it sucked when you started?

Perhaps you meant to write: Kroger sucks.  When I started here, I loved it.

Why do the grammar police keep showing up.
Unlike frontendslave, not all Kroger employees have advanced degrees.

A bachelor's is hardly an advanced degree.

Actually, you'd be right. The recession hit plenty of Ph.D's and caused them to enter a low-wage dead end job.

There wouldn't be any grammar police if people used good grammar.  You don't need a degree to know good grammar.

Yeah, you don't, but I've given up on trying to correct people on the net.   They almost always use the excuse that you don't need to use proper grammar when on the internet.

There's nothing out of the ordinary going on with today's grammar. Written communication has always changed over time; in terms of English, look at the way people used to write prior to the 20th century.

And Chinese and Japanese, with their pictographs? All those little chicken scratches and tic-tac-to signs used to be actual pictures. It converted to short hand centuries ago.

A lot of the current net misspellings irritate me too.......but they ain't goin away.

Just because they're not going away doesn't make them correct.

In time they may become correct just as middle English evolved with time.

They're also the ones that HR skips over when they browse resume and job applications over the Internet.
