Self checkout cashier tips?

Hi guys.  I'm scheduled to run the self checkout in a few days, but I'm a bit concerned.  I've only briefly been shown what to do and I never actually did it before.  Frankly, I don't absorb a whole lot by just watching someone.  On my original couple of training days they forgot to do it with me so I never was actually "trained" on it (aside from observing someone later on).  Do any of you have some quick things that I need to know?

Let the store know that you were never officially "trained" on the U-Scan and feel uncomfortable doing it by yourself.

Otherwise:

Each screen corresponds to a particular machine (positioned accordingly)
Tapping the screen and hitting the green button will give you control of the transaction when you need it (at which point you are "the cashier")
Hitting the green button again will "un-green" the screen and give control back to the customer
Hit "Security OK" at the bottom of a screen to ok weight fluctuations (but only after checking them out first) - especially large ones
The I-Pad will let you do everything except taking checks and swiping gift cards
Call supervisor if you have any irate customers or any other overwhelming issue - They are there to help and if they act otherwise, then that is their problem, not yours.
