You're right nutrition horror, I do spend to much time on this forum. At least I do still work for Kroger. Why people come here and piss and moan about their job, then quit, and still visit a Kroger employee website is beyond me. You think they would just move on. This applies to you to Missus white bread.
I'm tired of morons asking stupid questions that could be better and more easily answered at store level. Why aren't the days off for 6 months from now showing as approved? Ask your department head. We don't even know what store or department you work in. How do I do this or that on the texlon gun? If you are expected to use a gun, demand to be trained properly. Get in someone's face until you feel you have enough training. How do I do this or that on a register? Same answer as previous question. Can my manager make me do something I don't think is my responsibility? Yes. Is the manager always in the right. No. Do what the union tells everyone, do what you are told, file a grievance later.
You say I never contribute. How many times can you tell someone like frontendslave to stand up for themselves. Damn, if someone with less seniority is getting more hours, bump the crap out of them or stop complaining. Yes your supervisor can tell you to take those oranges back and you should do it right then. To go a whole year with only one uniform shirt is absolutely insane on the employees and on the companies part. Once again I will say it, frontendslave grow a pair and demand a new shirt(heck ask for two). As others have said they always have shirts for new hires. Get in their face every week until you get a shirt. You talk a big game on this forum, do the same at work. Just out of curiosity, since I will no longer be around have you ever been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Surely you must have some marginal mental defect. As far as you getting another job, I really hope you do. Your Kroger will be better off without you. And don't expect any better working conditions anywhere else, it's never going to be the job, you are the problem. I will leave you alone now. I'm sure you will still get sympathy from others on this forum. Although why I will never understand. How people can't see you for the self important little baby man that you are I will never figure out.
People, you need to lighten up. There used to be a little humor on this forum. I can remember a 3 page discussion of the wiener slot. But those days are gone.
So I will leave you all with these final thoughts. Kroger is no worse or better than most companies. Your job is what you make it. Best advice for everyone, clock in, do what you are told, clock out, go home enjoy life and leave Kroger problems at Kroger.
There are no magical solutions to your problems on this Forum.
Goodbye

Didn't bother reading.

Though, the fact that you have to make it known to the world that you're "leaving" is a sign of desperation. I shall now sit back, petting my cat while assembling my Gundam figures, and sipping tamarind juice from my wine glass in celebration of my victory.

You must've worked in the deli or something. Keep that **** in PMS land, thank you.

That was the sound of a door being slammed shut melodramatically. And a tiny tiny violin.

I'm glad I could help run you off. biggrin  I'm not seeing much difference in people complaining about their jobs on here, and you complaining about the people on here.  You could have started your own thread at anytime, given helpful advice, or just skipped some of the posts altogether.  At 23 posts I'm sure you will be back to posting under anonymous.

And to bring myself down to your level so you will understand - "bye you stupid poo poo head".  biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I'll have to agree with OP. As a supervisor, I've seen some silly things posted here that could have been fixed with some communication.
