I'm honestly annoyed by the backstabbing/talking ****, and laziness that seems to make up 95% of Kroger, excluding most of us that post on here. Today I got reprimanded for something that is not my fault today at work because my coworker complained to the manager. (They are always over 8 minutes late clocking out, and I was blamed for it because I get into the FC 2 minutes after clocking in.)
The other day I went in before work to cash my state tax refund check, and because I previously cashed 2 checks there it wouldn't allow me to cash it at Kroger. Instead of politely saying it wouldn't go through, this mean woman who works as the accountant and also at the service desk announced it loudly just to embarrass me. I swear I've become insane since I started working here. Are there any ways I can explain that I am not the fault for these coworkers being late to clock out, or am I just stuck to listen to them yell at me for it?
Have a friend or family member do an. "Annonomus cal." Have them say they were a customer and overheard her embarrassing you. Perhaps she'll get a slap kn the wrist and a "no, no, bad girl" Reprimand IF they choose to do something.

Got a quick question. If a manager is screwing over people with higher seniority just because he likes another person more and the boss let's him get away with it because he's a kiss a**... What would you recommend? It's happening to me and it happened to the girl before me. He will give the new hire more hours, lie about calling us first, and will harass/reprimand you to the point you either transfer or quit. Neither quitting or transferring is an option for me.

Roll/claim hours for scheduled shifts. For shifts that are being given away to less senior employees, keep a record of who picked up shifts that should have been given to you and file a grievance.
