So they let one of the new supervisor's do the schedule for the first time last week (FEM was off on bereavement), and we're now seeing just how messed up it is.
At this point its either funny how bad this guy managed everything, or just how much he's getting me back for not wanting to stay over one day last week. Since I'm working like one day next week, and that one day has two separate shifts. One on 1st Shift & one on 3rd.
I could care less about the hours, but I'm more contemplating when they start calling me in frantic next week should I tell them that's how they wrote it.
Yeah, the way I look at it is that if they start trying to call people in because they're short staffed, well they'll learn to schedule properly. Oh you want me to come in/stay late? Sorry, I got **** to do.
I work for Kroger Northern Floral Center. We are the ones that ship the flowers. It's not any better there either. We have a plant manager who changes rules, depending on who you are!! I missed 1 week and 2 days during the Valentines day rush all with ER and DR note. No attendance points given, but after the holiday I got scheduled 1 day for 6 hours for 2 weeks straight....confronted them about it and all I got was "I have to do what is best for business". This next week I have a whopping 2 days!!! But yet they still have the TEMPS there from the holiday (and they make more than I do, I've been there several years) and they are getting 24+ hours a week. There is 3 of us they did this too.......but there was more than us 3 that missed during the holiday. Just makes me proud to say I work for Krogers. Plus then our Plant Manager wonders why our yearly employee surveys the score SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Wake up KROGERS, it's the management!!
