Finding out if vacation has been approved or denied
Permalink

Can I find out if my vacation request has been approved or denied or do I have to wait like I would for any other request and wait until the week before to find out? I put in my vacation for a week that I'm actually going on vacation. I got my vacation request form in January which is the exact time that I had finally gotten the dates for my vacation. I put in for July 26th-July 31st.

A few options:

1. Check online on greatpeople.me

2. Ask whoever writes your schedule and/or approves the requests.

3. Ask the manager.

Your department head is supposed to have a vacation calendar posted somewhere.

Vacations have to be on the official vacation roster by a certain date and they have to be approved or denied by a certain date.  For my store they dates are March 15 and April 1.  If you do not hear anything by the cutoff date, you can probably assume that your vacation was approved.  You still have to put it on E-Schedule though.

Another dumb ass who can't seem to talk to a dept. head or manager.

No one can have that week off in the entire company.

Why the hell not? School's out, graduation season's over, and there are no major holidays at the end of July/all of August.  There would be no reason to deny it.

July 26-31 is the 125 year anniversary for the Kroger company.
All stores are rolling back prices on bread, milk, chicken, lettuce and many other staples to 1890 prices that week.
It will be all hands on deck that week.
This information is highly classified, I just happened to see a write up on the managers desk when I was sneaking around looking for my file.
Managers should never leave their offices unlocked.
