Am I the only front end mother ****a who goes into his store and tries to do a good job even with lazy ass supervisors whose day consists of walking around in circles and never being around when we need them?

Why in the **** wont they listen to me when I tell them we need 2 people outside doing carts on sundays? (every ****ing week I tell them this)

Why does my store have someone who doesnt speak (I can work a full shift and never hear him talk) working up front?

Everyone knows im a good worker so why I am still stuck doing the same **** as when I started while people that have worked less there a year are getting promoted?

3 years of this **** is wearing me down and im not even sure if Im paid decently (what should I be making?)

I'm on the same boat as you. I go outside to bring in carts but i always try to bring in 15 to 20 and i can decently fill the corral. But than they always send someone who's dragging their ass and than i get sent out to help that person. I'm probably going to start dragging my ass if people don't get it together.

One of the reason others are being promoted instead of you is because you said you tell them every week they need two people.  Every week you tell what they need to do instead of the other way around.  Why would they promote you?

As far as pay goes, if you have been there three years you should know by know what you should be getting paid.  Check your union contract.  You should probably suck it up, do your job and work hard if you want to be promoted.  If you are promoted, expect more of the same.

Yes, honesty--Krogrr's number-one core value!--will get you nowhere.

Here it seems the slacker CC's get promoted to cashier, meanwhile, if you are good at the job, you have to beg to be promoted/moved.

The trick to getting promoted is to not having a gag reflex.

Kroger is stuck with seniority promotions..even if you are the greatest employee ever..the old fatazz will take it. Go find a company that promotes my performance.

Those companies are hard to find with all the diversity/AA bull**** going on. And if you don't have any credentials, your glass ceiling will be something along the lines of "customer service manager" in most corporations. LEARN A TRADE or get an in-demand college degree. Work under someone you tolerate a few years then work for yourself.
