People assume it's easier to work in a low volume store... and perhaps at times, it is, but remember, because it's a low volume store, there are even fewer hours budgeted, so it can be rough in that store as well. A lot of the problems that exist in the high volume stores also exist in the low volume stores, due to the way corporate runs the company.
What's considered low volume? My store does an average of 60-100k a day depending on the day of the week.
We don't have anywhere near as many employees as say, a marketplace would. Less hours get allotted on elms, and sometimes if we DO get allotted enough elms hours, we might not have enough people to cover said hours.
A high volume store gets some slack on things because, "They are so busy." but low volume stores aren't allowed excuses and the stress can actually be higher.
