Hello, this matter isnt life or death im just looking for an answer. I checked my Eschedule today and on two of the days I have a little blue star next to the hours. I would ask someone in my department tomorrow when I go in but I'm the only one in my department that uses the Eschedule. So this is for a future reference. Thank you.
That is one of the questions divisional HR didn't bother to acknowledge, much less answer, recently for another associate.
My best guess is the blue star indicates assignment to a department or sub-department other than the primary one. For example, your primary assignment (and usual work)--the bold heading on the printed schedule--might indicate "Dairy Clerk" with the blue star indicating reassignment to grocery for a portion or entirety of that shift.
[Looks like FrillyBob has the same understanding.]
It is nice to know what to expect; a person might, for example, chose different gloves or undershirt depending on assignment.
Thank you. I work deli and the deli closes at 10 in my store, and we share the area with the bakery, they close at 9. The two days with the blue stars end at 9pm. So I was kinda thinking that but wasn't too sure.
