Saw my district change.. don't mind much because I live more or less in the middle of it.

What's the reasoning behind the realignment? I recall reading a message here from someone about co-managers being moved as a result, in order to keep some of them within a certain district rather than lose them to another, but what's the purpose of this and what exactly is it supposed to "change" besides some stores falling under a different district?

Too many stores opened and overburdened district level management/coordinators. Creation of an additional district to spread out the burden.

Thanks. That makes sense. No question about it, Kroger is opening a number of new marketplaces in the division I work in.
