If I am the one to have saddled your horse, then you take all the time you want----as long as I get more rides as soon as your va jay jay has shrank back down again. I might even throw you a few bucks if you're extra good to me.

If I didn't get to play? Nothing. No time off, no extra money. Don't even think of calling out with a sniffle, I'll hound you til you quit or I FIRE you, hahahahaha

I gave birth to my kids while working for Kroger. There's no maternity pay. Kroger has to abide by Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) as that's the friggin law. Basically you're allowed to have a leave and not have to worry about being fired or losing your position (I think even if you did, they have to compensate you with one that is similar?).
IIRC, you can get some sort of maternity leave through the Kroger Insurance? I never bothered with it because I don't use Kro insurance. There's gotta be at least one person at your store that's sort of like HR that can explain this to you. They'll have the leave forms. You should also get with some of the other ladies who might have had their kids while employed by Kroger, they'll be able to tell you more.

Congratulations and good luck!

Hi I'm Sally, first of all congrats! My husband and I are expecting our fourth even as I type this.

Any way, my first two were under Kroger's insurance plan and this was how it worked then: full coverage, 90/10, plus paid LOA of one month for every week of the first trimester. That equaled out to a total of 12 months for my first 3 months of pregnancy!! It dropped off pretty significantly after that tho; in fact, it reversed until I had to work through my last 6 weeks, 80 hrs / week, unpaid to make up the difference, then I had to come up with the missing balance of 26 K.

So I sacrificed my pinky finger on the deli chopping block instead of my baby on the secret alter.

Again: Congratulations!!!
