Yes.

The written schedule is the official schedule. I have never seen an eschedule updated so you can't rely on it being correct.

Would they call me at least if I didn't show up on my paper schedule days?

So you're not going in then. No matter what any one here says.

I might go, but I'm not trying to get in trouble for not going to Kroger just to check my schedule

Always go by the paper schedule. NEVER go by Eschedule. I learned that one the hard way. If you're ever unsure, just ask.

Yes, they will call you... and it won't be a pleasant phone call either.

It clearly states on the My Schedule page on Greatpeople.me that:

"This schedule was published by your store. This schedule is also posted at your store and any updates to this schedule will be posted on the store copy, which is the official copy. Please discuss any questions you may have about your posted schedule with your supervisor. Thank you."

Pay special attention to the part that reads: "any updates to this schedule will be posted on the store copy, which is the official copy."

But if you want to get written up for a No Call, No Show, that's your business, not ours.

In our store, the schedules for pretty much the entire night crew are permanently wedged. If I went by either the esched or the useless piece of paper, I'd get fired for not showing up on time, or at all.

And you know what? I don't care, because although the store manager and his day minions "know not their ass from a hole in the ground" (Holey Book, Book of Holes, Chapter 1), and the automatic scheduler apparently cannot handle a shift that straddles midnight among other failings, the grocery manager and his spare wheel, who both work the night shift, are decent people who actually take care of their crew, and I come in when they tell me to. (Which is a regular schedule, same time same nights every week.)

I pity those of you who cannot talk or reason with your immediate supes.

*sigh*

I think we just lost a guy over this. He got confused on his schedule, and didn't come in last night--second missed day this week.

Oops. We really needed him last night, and boss lady is pissed.

I'm sorry to see him gone; he was a good worker when he showed up. (He's also been taking a lot of sick days.)

It is absolutely insane that the e-schedule and the time clock schedule are not identical, and override the paper schedule. We are all currently having to get overrides every single night.

But yeah: if you have any doubts whatsoever, call in and confirm.
