Day 1 and "Day 2" - Paid?

Hi, so I had my Day 1 last week and then what I thought was Day 2, a few days ago. During Day 1, I was given the store tour, did a scavenger hunt, filled out some papers, as well as "job shadowed".

Then a few days ago, I was with a group of new employees and we were doing what they called 'Say Hello", we learned about the company and introduced ourselves. My question is, am I paid for either of these days? When would I expect to be paid?

We were then told that during our "Day 2", we would meet with the head of our company, fill out Day 2 in our booklets, and do some computer training.

I'm confused by it not being day 2 last meeting. I don't actually start "official" work until next week (so not this upcoming week at all). Should I expect to get a paycheck for these last two days during the week I actually start working?

I hope this all makes sense.

Anything you do while on company time you are compensated for. That's the law.

As for when you'll be paid for those two days, I would expect that will be on your first check. Your personnel dept. can fill you in on that.
