What is your job now?  What job do you want to bid for?

Always ask experienced employees or a store manager in your store if you have a question like this.  Or, ask your union steward.

At our store, Bids are placed in the breakroom on a table or on a communication board with tacks.  You sign it, take a pic of it and then call the number on the bidsheet to set up an interview.

Do you have management training? Usually they want someone who has managed a store. But I would ask management and even
Corporate for advice on nailing the position you desire. Good luck.

You are over qualified to be a troll too.

Some managers start out as Courtesy Clerks.  Get promoted to a Department(Customer Service, Grocery, Drug GM or Produce).  Then, they become Department Managers.  After that, they enroll in the MD1 studies with a managers' recommendation.  Then, become a co manager if ready.  Then Store Manager.  From there it is up the food chain to District Manager/Coordinator and all the other management jobs at the top.
