Anyone on here work in South Carolina East Georgia area? Most stores in East Georgia and Coastal South Carolina were closed. How is it now? I am sure they are open up now. They acted like it really hurt them to close. But when people are told to evacuate they know they have to unless they want to be stuck in situations where 911 first res ponders will not respond. I think it would be interesting to ride out a hurricane but I know it is dangerous. I think Kroger expected to close just one day then reopen the next but when the workers are scattered about possibly 100-200 miles away they cannot just come back the next day. How does this work anyway? Do the employee's get paid? That may sound like a dumb question just not sure if Kroger has some kind of insurance to pay employee's. I am sorry for anyone that had to go through this and hope you and your family are OK.
