Lomg story short I'm working in a new (to me) store. This new store is a mess. My suggestions for improvement are met with borderline hostility. My new plan of action is to attempt to use best practices/key retailing standards as my 'argument' or method for making improvements within my department. I don't have time to study the materials at work though, we're too short staffed and spread so thin I can't take the time to be on Barney web reading up on things. Does anyone know if I can access that info from home somehow??? I think these people I work with definately have the potential to be rockstars at their jobs they just lack proper training and have 2-4 years worth of bad habits that need corrected. I just want to make all of our lives easier and improve my work environment... I need help
I don't think there's any way to access that type of stuff from home. You really should try to do this stuff on the clock but i know that's not always doable (i check my emails a lot after i clock out now, i never have time to get on the computer to check these things) so maybe stay over and get on the computer and print everything you can?

Are you actually in charge of pharmacy or are you just trying to be pushy and get people to do things the way you think they should be done? If it's the former, then you need to let them know who's in charge. If it's the latter, then you need to mind your own business and stop worrying about things that aren't your concern.
I'm not in charge. I'm trying to help. Not tryingto be pushy. I came from a well ran, very efficient pharmacy (different Kroger location) to a short staffed pharmacy with inexperienced techs and a pharmacy manager who's too overwhelmed to address the issues. It's not about things being done the way I 'think' they should be done. It's a matter of following Kroger's policies & best practices. And more importantly NOT breaking the law, in some of the more serious issues present in my new store.
