I am a utility clerk, and I USE to like coming into work. We have a new assistant manager and enjoyment for coming to work is PERMANTELY ruined. No matter what I do, she ALWAYS points out the mistakes. She's there EVERYDAY. EVEN on her days off. I come in and get started working, and I get b *tched at. A customer even overheard and as the woman was leaving, the customer says "thank you for all you do. It'll be ok." I thank the guy.
15 min later I get called into the office for a talking to. I tell her "I haven't done anything to you, I do everything as asked on time. I don't know what you have against me, but this is a form of bullying and harassment. The ONLY reason I am tolorating the bullying is because I need my job." What does she do? She suspends me for 3 days. should I call my union? If i do she'll know it came from me, and it'll make it worse. I've seen it happen to another co-worker. He called the union and after it was settled he "quit" suddenly.
OP here... The reason was being arguementive. I've called my union and they are looking into it. I've never been written up. I know that suspensions can happen without write ups but only if it's an EXTREME case. This wasn't it. If I loose my job because of her I will sue. I have documented EVERYTHING she has said and fine to me thus far.
The he sad thing is... Her and the store manager are buddy-buddies.
