Last week i worked 15 hours including 5 hours on thanksgiving, I got my check today and I've only been paid for 10 hours.

Who should I speak to at my store about this? Will I be able to get paid for them 5 hours? I did clock in but it must not of registered it, ive only been working there 3 weeks.

Just ask your manager or assistant manager. I had a pay stub missing an override shift and he took me upstairs and had the money on my next check in 10 minutes

Let them know politely of their error. If your manager is not available you could leave him a note saying something like "On Thursday Nov 24, i worked xx time to xx time which included my reg schedule. I noticed that an accidental error that has taken place on this week's check. Instead of the 20 hours i was supposed to have gotten, i only recieved 10 hours.

I thank you in advance for correcting the hours and adding the payment due to me on my next check.

Be sure to have a copy of your schedule on hand. also if you leave the note, talk to your manager as well and see if he/she got the note.

I had to do this with my manager a few times and it got corrected.

They need to correct it.  They are able to add it to the next paycheck.

As a new person, I recommend you keep track of the days and hours you work and always double check them against your paystubs.

Always make all your punches even if you are ring restricted.  They can look it up and validate it to make sure you get payed.  Get an over ride from the customer service when someone with an over ride is there.

This is exactly why everyday when you clock out, you then do an inquiry to check that your hours are correct. Never assume Kroger when do anything correctly.
