They wear the same uniform as everyone else in the store.   You'll be given a hat or hairnet since you're working around food.   You also have to wear non-slip shoes.  At my store you either have to purchase the approved shoes through Kroger or wear slipcovers over your own shoes.  Many of us do neither unless the safety inspector is around.  If your supervisor or management makes you wear them then you have no choice.

Yea, previous poster is right. We wear standard blue shirt and jeans, hair net or the Kroger's hat that you may have or may not have asked for when they gave you your apron or that little black coat. I would also suggest, if you have the Kroger fleece jacket, totally make sure you always have that and your apron and name tag. Our store manager has been known to make people clock out and leave for the day if you don't have your apron and name tag. Hence I've always have my badge clipped to my shirts once I get them washed and cleaned up. So don't even have to look for it. And yea definitely don't forget that jacket. Not sure about anybody else freezers. But ours is cold as hell some days and as often as you have to go in and out of there, you definitely need to have it with you at all times.

Oh and we do switch our standard black aprons to yellow ones for the Taste of Italy stuff.
