Some days are worst than others, but it seems like nearly everyday there are multiple things that piss me off and just put me in a terrible mood and make me look mad, upset, and frustrated. I've been called out on this by coworkers and customers before, but I've just gotten to the point where I don't care. Why the **** should I care about a job that pays under $10/hr? I can go apply to Burger King and probably make more and also commute less. My dept head triggers me like nothing else. He is always watching me, making sure I am moving "fast enough" even though when he does it "fast", he skips 30% of what I do, like conditioning all the items and not just a select few. Which makes the rest of everything look like **** and our evening people don't even care enough to resume our work. It pisses me off so bad and puts me in a terrible mood and makes me want to quit. I don't need to be ****ing watched like a hawk, it makes me very uncomfortable and angry to the point that I am pissed off the rest of the shift and can't focus. I'm just wondering if management is eventually going to fire me for looking angry. I do everything I am asked and need to do, but my dept head just pisses me off so bad with his ****ing stalking everything we do. Coworkers also know what I'm talking about, that's why a few feel the same way I do.
No one cares if you look angry. Don't discuss it too often with anyone Get your job done and they will not bother you.
I get similar look on my face too. Had it since I was a teen. I am not mad at anyone or anything. I am just dead serious when I am working.
Life is more than just Kroger. Find a hobby that you enjoy to lower your stress level. Find a gf or bf. Find what makes you happy in life. Set your goals to do better in Kroger or out of Kroger. Don't get stuck in the Kroger zombie zone.
