selling to vendors

Anybody here know of the Kroger policy of selling sale products to vendors (party store owners)?

I would love to know the policy and show it to mgmt. I really hate it when they come in and buy our crap to turn around and double the price to sell in their stores.  As un interested as I am about Kroger making monies it just gets my goat when these people come in.  Perhaps I am being trivial about this but that doesn't matter because it is how I feel and I am important.  I wouldn't be so upset if they didn't fill their carts with all of the products off the shelf and leave nothing for "joe".

Thanks for any help in this policy.

As long as we are making money who cares.  If they take everything tell them to call before they buy so more can be ordered.

Unless they put a limit on how many you can buy per day, there's really nothing you can do.  The good thing is as far as I've noticed is the vendors don't come around everyday.  So at least it gives Kroger a chance to re-stock the shelves.  If there's a vendor that's consistently buying out a particular product, you might want to speak to someone in management so maybe they can get in touch with the vendor so they can order what they need ahead of time.

Our store put a limit on rainchecks specifically because of this issue, store owners mass-buying cheap items on sale, then getting rainchecks since we're out, and customers not being able to buy any afterwards.

Far as regular items, the 2nd reply's a good one, get in touch with the vendor and see if you can set up some kind of weekly ordering system.

our store does limits on sodas but not anything else. unfortunately it's not well known so they mostly get away with it.

My store manager knows about this and does not care. You can buy 100 bags of chips if you want.
