It's been over a month since the contract expired, and no updates. What's going on?

I'm wondering the same.

They met on the 3/23 and 3/24 to discuss issues dealing with the language of the contract.  Then met on 4/5 through 4/7 where the language issues were mostly resolved and started discussing economic issues.  They will next meet on 5/1, which is this Monday through 5/5 where the most likely will discover more issues and still not have a contract.

The union Morons did not even start negotiating until last day of the contract now expired. They don't even have the decency to post an update on the website. There better be a large lump sum retro pay for all the weeks working since the last contract expired.9

Would someone like to contact the Teamsters and see if they'd like to get into grocery retail?  You know, if the UFCW does not adequately represent us, we can decertify it and vote in another union.

This is equally true in UFCW Local 1000 where nepotism is king and the president pays himself $299,000 a year while settling for $8 wages for his members.
