Personal Days/Vacation Time
Permalink

I have been working at Kroger part time for over a year now. I have earned two four hour personal days , and vacation time. Last week I used my personal days , but my pay stub does not include the two four hour days  that I requested. I was speaking with a few coworkers last week about paid time off , and they told me all I had to do was go to greatpeople and put in a request. Well I guess not. We have a ring errors/vacation box next to the time clock. Do I need to write down for personal days ? And for vacation time ? I just assumed the time would already be known without me recording it. How does it work at your store ?

Yeah my store, you have to write down your vacation time in the time book. If your store doesn't have a book, have whoever does payroll put it in the computer but you need to do it before that week's pay period is over. What you gotta do now is either tell management or go to the courtesy booth and make sure you get paid for those days off. That's YOUR money they owe you that you're pretty much giving back to them.
