According to GIS, I failed the drug test  .  Here is the statement I received from Kroger:

"Due to the results of your background/drug screening process, you will no longer be eligible for employment with the company.  Your continued employment was contingent on the company receiving satisfactory results of both background and drug screening checks.  We appreciate your interest in working for the company.  If you have any questions regarding your results you may contact GIS at 1-866-915-6030."

I strongly believe GIS made a mistake but they told me they want to charge me $250 to have the SAME SAMPLE retested.  Of course that will turn out positive too and I'm out $250.  At $7.30/hr thats 34 hours of work.  Has anyone found a way to prove GIS results wrong in a fair/reasonable way?  Has Kroger accepted results from cheaper/more reliable third party drug testing companies?  Which ones?

I really enjoy work and I want to get back to work as quickly as possible.  I really don't think the current method of drug testing is reliable. Nothing against Kroger just their drug testing. Thanks for your help!
