I've been at my new store as the assistant grocery leader for a couple of weeks now but I still get paid the same rate as I did when I was a clerk at my other store and my title still says Grocery / Clerk.
I don't even make $10/hr so I'd appreciate it if Kroger would ****ing pay me right when I'm doing the tasks of a dept lead already.
You should be getting that title soon but if they were paying you right they'd at least be putting it in as relief pay, thats what they did for me the first few weeks i was at my new store.
This issue alone--Krogrr routinely withholding wages for weeks and months owed to associates--is enough to select unethical on the Associate Insights Survey. The corporation routinely cheats its workers; it seems to be standard operating procedure.
Please call them out on their lack of honesty and integrity when you fill out your survey.
