What is the policy at your store? How often are comments printed? Who all at your store actually reads them? Are they discussed at huddles? How often are huddles held?

Do your managers print and make the comments available to anyone to read?

Do you have any idea if they have the ability to 'censor' some of the comments?

Are employees that are mentioned in a positive manner "rewarded" , ?recognized" or 'acknowledged" in any way at your store?

I am asking these questions because at our store, over the last few months it is increasingly unusual for any comments to be printed out and handed to dept heads, as I used to think Kroger was required to do so.  The "personal mentions" chart hasn't been updated in at least 3 months. No employees are being recognized for their positive comments as far as is apparent.

Does Kroger really require all stores to do this, or is it just at the local store management level to make decisions on this practice?

Thanks for any comments, I appreciate it!!

We used to really slack about it like y'all do (though it was internally tracked, and people got rewarded* for getting positive comments, and sometimes given a talking to for negative comments). Management changed, and we now print it out every day or two, and post the new comment sheet near the timeclocks in the front of the store. There's some real uh...special ones we laugh at.

No idea if entire comments are censored, other than I've seen some swears replaced with *** and such.

*A lot of good comments get you t-shirts and other swag!

My store prints them out every couple days and posts them at the time clock.

Employees mentioned are supposed to get a sticker towards the car drawing.  They often don't.  Except there's all the shenanigans with the cultural council and the car drawings, so it doesn't really matter.

There's also a scoreboard with employees divided up into teams.  There's something about a pizza party with only the winners getting pepperoni pizza and everyone else getting cheese.  Or something.  It's pretty mysterious, and no one really cares.
