The article you linked to, said something about "selectively raising wages to retain workers" without further clarification, but another article said nothing of the sort. Just said all of the money is going into the pension plan.
I always see the old timers and lifers bitch about Kroger more than anyone else. I see that on this board and in real life, but if you ask me, the younger workers who put forth actual effort are whose getting the sh** end of the stick, time and time again.
No wonder so many employees don't give a f**k. Kroger sends the message that your performance doesn't matter, just how long you did your time, even if you're a mediocre worker.
